Ben is a senior studying Data Science and Neurobiology with a deep passion and ambition for AI Safety, spanning from solving current challenges to potential near-term and long-term catastrophe scenarios. Currently enaging in RLHF interpretability and adversarial attack robustness research with Professor Sharon Li while trying to keep up his daily meditation practice. Akhil is a graduate student at Computer Sciences, UW Madison. His current research interests are in wireless communications and information security & privacy. His interest in AI Safety stems from the principles of Effective Altruism and he will soon be looking into the offensive capabilities of large scale models.
Shrey is a junior studying Computer Science and Data Science, with a strong fascination for AI and NLP. Currently immersed in research projects centered around natural language inference using large language models and vision transformers. Ahnaf is a Senior studying Computer Science and Data Science with interests in AI Alignment, MLOps, and Software Engineering. Ahnaf previously worked as a Data Science Intern, Computer Vision Research Assitant, and a Software Engineer at an early stage startup. He is currently working as a Peer Mentor for CS 544, and CS 540. Max is a senior studying Statistics and Philosophy. He's interested in economic policy, emerging tech governance, and ethics. Max has previously worked with the ODNI and designed Wisconsin's first AI focused bill while staffing at the state capitol. He intends to continue his work in politics, in DC, after his graduation.
